About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vegetation Officer to support our Vegetation Management program by conducting audits, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and engaging with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine audits of completed vegetation inspections, treatment, and works in progress to verify performance against agreed work plans and ensure compliance with contractual, safety, environmental, customer, and quality standards.
  • Initiate applicable reporting of work that does not comply with contractual, safety, environmental, customer, and quality obligations.
  • Provide assistance to the Senior Program Supervisor Vegetation Operations and Senior Vegetation Program Officers in monitoring performance against agreed work plans and actively assist in the incident investigation process as requested.

About You

  • You are an experienced professional in utility vegetation management and arboriculture practices, with a solid understanding of electricity distribution networks.
  • Your strong interpersonal and communication skills enable you to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders.
  • You are detail-oriented, capable of conducting accurate assessments, and committed to safety and quality standards.
  • Your ability to work both independently and as part of a team, along with your problem-solving skills and willingness to undertake further training, make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Required Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Arboriculture (Works Coordinator specialisation) or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
  • Driver's Licence
