Job Description

At Vanilla Pod Food & Espresso Bar, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our commitment to quality and freshness
  • Manage food and labor costs to ensure profitability
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes to ensure exceptional quality
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to address food preparation issues
  • Provide training and guidance on cooking procedures and techniques
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene regulations and standards
  • Lead and manage kitchen staff, including selecting and training new team members
  • Develop and implement strategies for freezing and preserving food items

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior chef in a fast-paced food service environment
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and productive kitchen culture
