About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team at The William Farrer in Wagga Wagga. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the head chef to plan and execute menus, ensuring innovative and appealing dishes.
  • Conduct daily stock-takes and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a high level of food quality.
Requirements
  • Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Cook in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
