About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team at Victoria Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative menus that showcase our restaurant's unique flavor profile
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure exceptional quality and consistency
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to create a positive and productive work environment
  • Train and mentor junior chefs to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a qualified chef, with a certificate IV in commercial cookery or similar
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
