This role involves driving business expansion and maintaining strong client relationships in the IT solutions industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and acquire new clients for hardware and IT solutions.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends to identify opportunities and generate income streams.
  • Develop and nurture existing client relationships.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of business products and value propositions.
  • Prepare comprehensive business proposals, respond to tenders, and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Arrange and conduct business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Formulate growth strategies and plans focused on customer satisfaction.
  • Design customized IT solutions to meet specific customer requirements, including cloud and mobile device management.
  • Develop quotes and proposals, and manage sales pipelines effectively.
Performance Metrics:
  • Achievement of sales targets by product and market segment.
  • Customer visits and satisfaction ratings (Net Promoter Score).
  • Accuracy and timeliness of CRM entries.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales as a BDM or account manager.
  • Experience in selling into Education or Government will be highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of IT products and ability to create customer-specific solutions.
  • Experience in high-level negotiations and sales of IT solutions such as VMWare, Microsoft cloud services, and MDM.
  • Excellent communication, customer support, time management, and planning skills.
  • Ability to manage conflicts constructively and motivate teams.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
