Port Property Compliance Specialist

The Property Compliance Officer is a key position that ensures tenants and license holders meet the terms of their agreements and comply with relevant policies, standards, and procedures across our ports.
This role offers a mix of time spent outdoors at various port locations as well as working with the property team from an office in Port Adelaide.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct regular inspections of all port land and property to ensure compliance with property agreements and port standards and conditions;
- Identify and report instances of non-compliance and develop strategies to resolve these issues efficiently;
- Maintain detailed records, collect evidence and prepare documentation for all instances of non-compliance;
- Provide compliance information and guidance to tenants, licensees and other stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A valid driver's licence;
- Experience in a compliance or regulatory role;
- The ability to interpret and understand property agreements, property legislation and statutes;
- Experience managing compliance in a public facing environment;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including building effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
