Job Title: Household Maintenance Specialist

About the Opportunity

The primary role of this position is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in our facilities. This will involve ensuring a safe and sanitary environment, adhering to infection control protocols, and supporting the overall comfort and well-being of residents and staff.

  • Responsibilities include performing various cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and administrative spaces.
  • Managing housekeeping and laundry services to ensure efficient and effective service delivery that meets all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

This casual vacancy is available immediately at our Aged Care home in Mentone, with potential for permanent roles.

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • A sense of compassion and empathy towards elderly residents.
  • Experience working in Aged Care or Health environments is desirable but not essential.

In addition to these requirements, you will also need to provide evidence of, or be in the process of obtaining NDIS Clearance.
