About the Role

The Communications Lead is a key position that drives high-quality communications to enhance and protect Nyrstar's national and local brand. This role is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy that showcases the company's story, values, and mission. The successful candidate will have the ability to think strategically and deliver results, working closely with the Corporate Affairs team to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a communications strategy that aligns with Nyrstar's business objectives
  • Drive high-quality communications across various channels, including internal and external audiences
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Affairs team to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, customers, and partners
  • Develop and implement internal communications programs to engage and inform employees
  • Monitor and analyze communications metrics to measure effectiveness and inform future strategies

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in communications or a related field
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as journalism, public relations, business, or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience in content development, including writing, editing, and design
  • Strong understanding of integrating communications messaging into creative campaigns and design-led communications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and adapt to different audiences
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
