Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to join our team at the Department of State Growth. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to engage with stakeholders and promote our organization's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality communications materials, including press releases, media statements, and social media content.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, government officials, and community groups.
- Provide strategic advice to senior management on communications matters, including crisis communications and reputation management.
- Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement integrated communications campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Develop and maintain the department's website and social media channels.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
