About the Role

As an Internal Communications Specialist, you will work closely with stakeholders across Aurora Energy to develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy. The purpose of internal communications is to engage employees with the company's business activities, strategic priorities, and vision.

You will be responsible for creating and overseeing an internal communications calendar, as well as planning and delivering communications across various channels. As part of the People Experience team, you will contribute to a range of culture and engagement activities that support the company's people.

The key ingredients for success in this role include strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment and use a creative, solutions-focused approach to deliver results.

This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About You

You will be a curious and motivated individual with a natural ability to create high-quality engaging content that resonates with employees. Your style will be to move at pace and deliver results autonomously. You will effectively build rapport and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing sound communications advice and managing expectations to achieve the best results.

You will enjoy the oversight of various platforms and be empowered to make recommendations on how to maximize their value. You will have a desire to learn, seek feedback, and develop your communication skills and capabilities.

You will have tertiary qualifications in Communications and demonstrated experience. It is a bonus if you have experience in change management and business communications, as well as photography, videography, and design skills.
