Job Description:

    As a Legal Operations Manager, you will provide strategic and operational support to the Legal Senior Leadership Team by providing expertise in financial management, project management, and technology portfolio investment.

    Your key responsibilities will include operating as an integrated and trusted business partner to the Legal team, identifying opportunities for automated processes, and strategically using service providers to drive efficiency while reducing costs.

    You will also oversee and manage the legal team's portfolio of technology systems, processes, and available tools, and support the General Counsel in coordinating team collaboration activities.

    In addition, you will maintain a strong and sustainable approach to financial management and managing the legal panel.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Computer Science (or equivalent) and/or Bachelor of Laws
  • Extensive experience in a Legal Operations or Technology role working in a large organizational context
  • Substantive experience working with content management systems along with a deep understanding of concepts such as version control, file permissions, and retention policies
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and address legal needs, develop relationships, and define resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, and billing
