As a Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our team members and stakeholders. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving improvements and fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence.

Job Summary:
  • You will be responsible for implementing our health, safety, and environmental management systems at site level.
  • Drive business improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance and operational efficiency.
  • Provide specialist advice on food safety regulations and support operational teams to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop procedures to mitigate risks and prevent incidents.
  • Lead incident investigations and implement processes to report and investigate incidents effectively.
  • Support Return to Work Processes and conduct regular audits to ensure our operations meet the highest standards.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or related field).
  • Qualifications in ICAM investigations and root cause analysis are highly regarded.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in Health and Safety, Environmental, or similar fields is essential.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Food safety handling or supervisory experience is desirable.
  • Previous site-based HSEQ experience is highly valued.
  • Your ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships will be crucial in this role.
