Residential Construction Cost Consultant

Job Summary
">We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to lead our estimating process from tender to submission across residential and commercial projects.
">About the Role
">- Analyse drawings, plans, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities.
- Source competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating terms where required.
- Collaborate with directors and project teams to ensure budgets align with client and delivery requirements.
- Review tender documentation, identify risks and value opportunities, and provide ongoing cost advice.
Requirements
">- 5+ years' estimating experience within residential and commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and cost planning.
- Proven ability to deliver accurate tenders on projects up to multi-million-dollar value.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Excel; exposure to Procore advantageous.
