Asset Development Lead

This is a leadership role that oversees the development of new assets connected to high-voltage transmission networks.

The successful candidate will provide specialist advice and lead commercial and technical developments across the entire asset lifecycle for new network projects.

This includes collaborating with key stakeholders and clients to develop optimized solutions and strategies for network development.

The Asset Development Lead will liaise with external stakeholders including regulatory bodies and internal teams to achieve optimal network development and asset outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing asset management strategies for high-voltage transmission networks.
  • Providing specialist advice on commercial and technical matters related to asset development.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop optimized solutions for network development.
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies and internal teams to ensure compliance and effective asset management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in High Voltage Substation and Transmission Line technical roles across the asset lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management and decision making.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and ISO55001 asset management systems.
  • Ability to apply technical and commercial evaluation of options for network development.
  • In-depth knowledge of functional substation, transmission line, and cable technical areas of design.
