High Voltage Transmission System Lead

As a lead in high voltage transmission system developments, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of power systems analysis and formulation.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to drive strategic enhancements in network performance by leveraging cutting-edge power systems analysis and spearheading innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, and coordinate joint network planning initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you must have extensive experience in electricity transmission system analysis and development, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of national and international planning standards and practices.

About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline or equivalent relevant experience, with postgraduate qualifications desirable
  • Extensive experience in legislation and technical standards guiding system planning and working in accordance with Quality Assurance Systems
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, excellent written communication skills for persuasive reports and submissions, and proven experience in change management
  • Well-developed people and service management skills, with a focus on risk management (qualitative and quantitative) and quality assurance principles
