We have a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care and support, and we're now seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our team.

About the opportunity

We're looking for a skilled and compassionate Team Leader to oversee the effective and safe running of our sites. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing participants with complex care needs, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of care and support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and support to participants with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of participants.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained at all times.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including families, guardians, and care teams, to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Manage rosters, staff, and resources to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.

About the candidate

We're looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in disability support services, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, manage, and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients, families, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work outside of operational hours, including weekends, sleepovers, and active nights.
  • Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and WHS Compliance management.

Mandatory requirements:

  • Cert III or higher in Disability Services or 12 months experience.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • NDIS Orientation module (NDIS Quality Safety & You).
  • Working with Children Check (underage participants only).
  • Driver's Licence.
  • Car Insurance.
  • Reliable vehicle.

Additional skills:

  • Experience with Autism and complex behaviors.
  • Personal care experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
