About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our team, responsible for the effective and safe running of our sites. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting individuals with complex care needs and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing participants with complex care needs and high physical requirements
  • Supporting individuals to realize their full potential and make informed decisions about their lives
  • Providing professional development opportunities for learning and career growth
  • Working in Supported Disability Accommodation to support participants with medical needs and manual handling requirements
  • Enabling participants to shape and improve their lives
  • Creating opportunities for individuals to connect with their abilities and inspire partnerships of support
  • Providing consistent, high-quality care and being rewarded for skills and commitment
  • Working in a family-friendly, supportive environment driven by strong values

Requirements:

  • Cert III or higher in Disability Services or 12 months of experience
  • Preference given to candidates with SIL accommodation experience
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Orientation module (NDIS Quality Safety & You)
  • Working with Children Check (underage participants only)
  • Driver's Licence
  • Car Insurance
  • Reliable vehicle
About the Candidate

This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in administration, rostering staff, and liaising with stakeholders.

Key requirements include:

  • Female candidates only
  • Ability to work outside of operational hours when required
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with client stakeholders and maintain positive relationships
  • Strong administrative skills, including computing, reporting, and rosters
  • Experience in conflict management
  • Medication administration
  • WHS Compliance management
