About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Team Leader to join our team at Cocoon SDA Care. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the effective and safe running of our sites, ensuring that our participants receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage participants with complex care and high physical needs
  • Support individuals to realise their full potential and make choices about their lives
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each participant
  • Lead and manage a team of support workers to ensure high-quality care and support
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including families, guardians, and care teams, to ensure seamless care and support
Requirements
  • Cert III or higher in Disability Services or 12 months of experience
  • Preference given to candidates with SIL accommodation experience
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Orientation module (NDIS Quality Safety & You)
  • Working with Children Check (for underage participants only)
  • Driver's Licence
  • Car Insurance
  • Reliable vehicle
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with Autism and complex behaviours
  • Personal care experience
  • Ability to work outside of operational hours when required
  • Strong administrative skills, including computing, reporting, and rosters
  • Experience in conflict management
  • Medication administration
  • WHS Compliance management
