About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Team Lead to join our team, responsible for the effective and safe running of our sites. The successful candidate will have a strong background in disability support, with experience in managing participants with complex care and high physical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of disability support services to participants with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each participant.
  • Lead and manage a team of disability support workers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care is delivered.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including families, guardians, and care teams, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including WHS and NDIS requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Cert III in Disability Services or 12 months experience in a similar role.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Orientation module (NDIS Quality Safety & You) completed.
  • Working with Children Check (underage participants only) and driver's licence.
  • Reliable vehicle and car insurance.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working with Autism and complex behaviors.
  • Personal care experience and ability to administer medication.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
