Mental Health Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in improving the mental health and wellbeing of adults in custody.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting independent risk assessments to identify individualized support needs.
  • Providing psychoeducation and delivering interventions to promote positive behavioral change.
  • Maintaining knowledge of psychopathology to inform evidence-based practice.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in psychological assessment and intervention for adults with mental health conditions, cognitive impairments or developmental disorders.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging diverse client groups and stakeholders.
  • Able to apply research-based practices to offender rehabilitation.
Requirements
  • General or provisional registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA or eligibility to obtain registration upon commencement.
  • Bachelor's degree (4-year minimum) in Psychology or Behavioural Science.
  • Compliance with National Psychology Board and AHPRA registration standards.
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance if engaged in secondary employment.
