Occupational Therapist

Mental Health Clinician

Location: Tropical North Queensland, Australia

  • Assess and provide evidence-based treatment for patients with mental health issues.
  • Collaborate with emergency department staff to develop clinical pathways for patients needing psychiatric care.
  • Deliver mobile crisis response, consultation liaison, and case management services.
  • Uphold the Recovery Model and ensure culturally responsive care for consumers and carers.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support others in their professional development.

You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a clinician with strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to individualised, patient-centred care.

  • Permanent Full-time or Part-time position available.
  • Pro rata remuneration package based on full-time of up to $132,567 per annum.
  • Base salary range of $79,051 - $116,189 per annum (full-time) or $58.59 per hour (part-time).

Requirements:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited tertiary institution.
  • Registration with the Occupational Therapist Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • A current 'C' class motor vehicle licence.
