">The successful candidate will have a strong background in risk management, preferably within Australia's financial services sector, and experience working on regulatory change projects.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Provide expert advice on risk management frameworks, operational risk mitigation strategies, and controls.
- Support day-to-day activities of second-line teams, including developing risk mitigating strategies and controls.
- Design and implement controls and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
- Analyze existing business practices to identify areas for improvement and design controls to mitigate risks.
- Contribute to reporting on risk and compliance matters to relevant governance forums.
Requirements and Qualifications
">- 5-7 years of experience in risk management within Australia's financial services sector.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Law, Finance, or related field.
- Prior experience on regulatory change projects, preferably CPS 220-230 focused.
- Deep knowledge of internal controls' governance and oversight.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
">- Data analytics skills, preferably with Tableau or PowerBI.
- Experience with risk culture framework design and implementation.
What We Offer
">The successful candidate will receive a highly competitive daily rate of around $920-$960, based on prior experience.
