About the Role

The role of a personal carer involves providing daily living assistance, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry, and ironing. You will also support clients with community-based recreational and social activities, transportation, and assistance with shopping and appointments.

  • Providing care in accordance with individualised Care Plans
  • Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes, supporting with daily activities

Role Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification - Essential
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
  • Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work - Essential
  • Experience with technology including smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
  • Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
