About the Role

As a dedicated and compassionate individual, you will have the opportunity to provide essential care services to our residents in support of our Personal Care Workers. Your primary role will be to build strong relationships with our residents, families, and team members, ensuring the optimization of resident choice and allowing them to live their best lives.

">Your Responsibilities
  • Provide basic mobility assistance such as walking with a resident or propelling their wheelchair
  • Assist with the delivery of meals and removal of dishes/meal trays
  • Supervise residents in a memory support unit
  • Stock resident's individual continence bags
  • Apply moisturizing skin creams
  • Assist residents with glasses, hearing, and other aids
  • Clean resident rooms and laundry duties
  • Provide emotional support to residents and assist their families/visitors
  • Assist residents to attend activities and do things that are of interest to them
Requirements
  • Currently hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Unlimited working rights in Australia
  • Hospitality or Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassion and Empathy
  • An understanding of resident rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes
