About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate Spiritual Care Provider to join our team in delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality spiritual support to patients and their families, respecting individual beliefs and practices.
  • Collaborate with staff to provide holistic care, actively participating in events, ceremonies, and rituals as required.
  • Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding patient information and coordinate memorial services for deceased patients.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision, demonstrating a learner mindset and commitment to excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered suitable, you will have or be progressing towards a Clinical Pastoral Education qualification and/or studies in theology/religious education or counselling/psychology.

  • Previous experience providing pastoral care support in clinical environments is desirable.
  • A demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team and build rapport with diverse individuals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with respect and sensitivity in ministry.
