  • Undertaking discharge planning to provide adequate support to patients and their support persons is also crucial.
  • Offering support and guidance to colleagues and nursing students to foster growth and excellence within the team is another important responsibility.
About Our Ideal Candidate

We seek individuals who:

  • Hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Possess dual qualifications in general nursing and midwifery.
  • Bring prior working experience relevant to patient-centred care environments/specialties.
  • Have currency of life support skills applicable to patient-centred care environments/specialties.
  • Demonstrate experience in birth suites and special care nursery, caring for neonates from 32 weeks' gestation and above.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continued quality improvement and best practice principles.
