Community Development Officer

We are seeking a skilled Community Development Officer to join our team in shaping vibrant communities, public spaces, places and economies.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Housing Delivery Authority's mission to boost housing supply and improve affordability in NSW.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality assessments and advice that meet statutory obligations and government goals.

You will be responsible for analysing complex issues, recommending innovative solutions, and contributing to ongoing improvements to our processes.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary degree qualification or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant environmental assessment and planning legislation and processes
  • Ability to travel and hold a Class C Driver's Licence (for regional positions)
