Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development of our workplace culture from scratch. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and has experience building and scaling HR functions in fast-growth or operationally complex settings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing HR systems, policies and frameworks for scale and overseeing the workforce planning and Talent Acquisition strategy. They will also build leadership capability and career pathways and serve as the trusted advisor to the executive team, shaping culture and business performance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a best-in-class People & Culture function from day one
  • Partner directly with founders to shape the DNA of the company
  • Influence decisions at the highest level while staying hands-on and connected to the team
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong track record of building and scaling HR functions in fast-growth or operationally complex settings, ideally in resources, infrastructure, or other asset-intensive industries. You should also have experience navigating both Australian and New Zealand employment landscapes and be able to balance strategic impact with day-to-day delivery.
