About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is for a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join their enthusiastic and passionate allied health team as a team leader in behaviour support. The successful candidate will provide support to the team lead of psychology and behaviour support in the management, recruitment, and planning of behaviour support services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based, holistic, client-centred, and outcome-driven intervention approaches and strategies.
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments and identify restrictive practices.
- Develop and implement behaviour support plans, including interim and comprehensive plans, in line with the Disability Services Standards, Child Safety, NDIS, and other relevant legislative requirements.
- Utilise a range of assessment tools and techniques to support clients and stakeholders.
- Advocate for clients, their carers, and families to enable choice and decision-making that supports independence and quality of life.
- Work within a highly experienced multidisciplinary team of therapists.

- Registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Proficient Practitioner under the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
- Up-to-date Immunisation History.
