Behaviour Support Practitioner – Outer Eastern Melbourne

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in Outer Eastern Melbourne. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work with individuals with disabilities to develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans, utilizing positive behaviour support frameworks and function-based strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviours
- Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies to support participants in achieving their goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges
- Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports, including family, carers, and friends

- Deemed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
- Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Relevant tertiary qualification, such as Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, or related field
