About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to provide life-changing therapy to NDIS participants in Keilor East and surrounding areas.

This is a full-time or part-time (4 days per week) position that offers a competitive salary package, flexible working options, and opportunities for growth.

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Everyday Independence, you will work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.

You will utilize assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies
  • Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
  • Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Deemed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (evidence of letter required)
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Psychological/Social Science or related field)
