Behaviour Support Practitioners play a vital role in providing life-changing therapy to individuals with disabilities. At Everyday Independence, we are committed to changing the game for people with disabilities and making inclusion possible for all Australians.

We are seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to provide services in South Eastern Melbourne and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team of change-makers and contribute to the delivery of high-quality Behaviour Support Services that empower individuals to achieve their goals and maximise their NDIS funding.

About the Role

  • As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing and intervening with participants to support them in achieving their goals and overcoming complex behavioural challenges.
  • You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans that utilise positive behaviour support frameworks and function-based strategies.
  • You will also conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and collaborate with participants and their supports to build meaningful relationships and promote independence.

What We Offer

Requirements

  • Deemed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, or related field.
