Job Overview

The Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator plays a crucial part in ensuring a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for staff, visitors, and operations across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Asset Performance and Maintenance: Ensure functionality is maintained in all assets, including critical building services (HVAC, electrical, hydraulic, fire, and security systems).
  • Minor Repairs and General Maintenance: Conduct minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks to ensure the immediate functionality and appearance of facilities.
  • Safe and Productive Environment: Foster a safe, secure, and conducive work environment for all staff, members, and visitors.
  • Space Management: Ensure all premises are clean, well-maintained, and support operational needs.
  • Property Strategy and Sustainability: Contribute to the strategic long-term planning and optimisation of RACP's property footprint.

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate has 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar role providing comprehensive administrative and operational support in a facilities or property management setting.
  • Intermediate proficiency in using a range of software applications including MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio – facilities management systems, and databases like tenant portals for tracking, work order management, and maintaining detailed records.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communications skills with a focus on providing strong customer service.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to establish priorities and manage workloads.
