The Role:

Senior Project Manager

This is a pivotal role in the development and delivery of energy storage projects, contributing to the growth and sustainability of renewable energy sources and grid stability.

We are looking for an exceptional project manager with technical expertise and leadership skills to lead the execution of projects, develop staff and stakeholders, and ensure successful outcomes.

This position involves a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and passion for delivering high-quality, sustainable energy solutions. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the battery energy storage project from early works through NTP then to successful handover to operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing and delivering large-scale EPC projects within a global matrixed team context. Experience in Energy Storage markets is advantageous but not mandatory. A passion to learn and develop, an agile mindset, and comfort working in a fast-paced new technology-led environment are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the battery energy storage project from early works through NTP then to successful handover to operations.
  • Coordinate and develop internal and external functional contributors, contractors, and partners.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with design and construct partners, equipment providers, and other partners.
  • Provide oversight, leadership, and guidance in project planning to the entire organisation, including close collaboration with internal engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning, and business administration groups.
  • Proactively collaborate with customers, suppliers, partners, sales, and senior management to ensure full life cycle project deliverables are met.
  • Implement HSEQ standards across all project phases, ensuring compliance with legal, client, and internal requirements through proactive risk management, project & activity planning, contractor prequalification, and oversight of high-risk activities.
  • Achieve time, quality, and financial performance targets of the project and proactively implement plans to exceed targets.
