About Our Role

We are seeking a skilled Energy Storage Development Specialist to drive business growth and development in the energy storage sector.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to identify and pursue energy storage opportunities across commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Lead client engagements from technical discovery through to solution development and proposal delivery, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Conduct detailed site and energy usage evaluations, working closely with engineering teams to create fit-for-purpose storage solutions that meet both technical and commercial requirements.
  • Support complex sales cycles including pricing strategies, contract terms, risk analysis, and tender submissions.
  • Nurture trusted relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive long-term business growth and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and energy policies to guide strategic planning and enhance product positioning.

The Ideal Candidate

A successful Energy Storage Development Specialist should possess:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering (Renewable Energy, Power Systems, or a related field) or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or technical sales roles within the energy storage or renewables sector.
  • A solid understanding of battery energy storage systems, grid connection processes, and power conversion technologies.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders and align solutions with commercial outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proactive and highly organized, with the capability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-moving industry.
