About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Powerlink Queensland. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing subject matter advice and expertise in relation to land and acquisition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on land acquisition and negotiation strategies for the delivery, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning of Powerlink's infrastructure and assets.
  • Develop and implement effective acquisition and negotiation frameworks to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks associated with land acquisition and negotiation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with landholders, developers, and other key community stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Degree-level qualification in Valuation, Property, or a relevant field.
  • Proven experience working in a similar or related role.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in land matters, compensation principles, negotiation frameworks, and acquisition.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of relevant legislation requirements, including the various Land Acts.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and interpersonal skills.
