**Introduction**:
Surf Lifesaving Foundation has a rare opportunity to join our team and work with a group of highly skilled lottery and fundraising specialists to manage SLSA Prize Homes to ensure they are renovated, repaired, and maintained as required by the lottery program.

As the fundraising arm of Surf Life Saving Australia, you will be working within a national community organisation that has become part of the Australian way of life.

We provide more than just lifesaving on our beaches - SLSA encompasses coastal safety, elite sports teams, public relations, partnerships & national fundraising delivering coastal public safety, rescue, and education services. With over 180,000 members and 315 affiliated Surf Life Saving Clubs, we represent the largest volunteer movement of its kind in Australia, and the world.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal team member will have experience working with trades briefing and negotiating quotes, managing delivery and ensuring quality output. You must be able to visit prize home locations across SE QLD (must have driver's licence). Experience with QLD building code and practices is an advantage as is experience providing service in a luxury property environment.

**Description**:
**Key Responsibilities for the Prize Home Coordinator Role**:

- Review properties and/or property assessment reports that have been identified as potential prize homes and identify areas in need of repair; timeframes to complete identified work based on available resources and maintain compliance with relevant codes or SLSA standards.
- Deliver identified alterations and repairs to a purchased home to the required prize home standards and provide ongoing timely and accurate status of the tasks identified to relevant team members for the duration of the home ownership.
- Meet the required waypoint deadlines as identified by the team for the various stages of Prize Home management.
- With the support of the Procurement Manager and Lottery team, engage contractors required to renovate, repair, maintain and prepare prize homes for lotteries.
- Co-ordinate ongoing cleaning, maintenance, and gardening of prize homes to ensure they are of the standard required to offer as prizes from acquisition to handover.
- Some attendance to prize home issues out of normal business hours, may be required, from time to time.

**Skills and Experiences**:
TAFE or RTO trade qualification

Knowledge and experience that will give you the inside running:

- Demonstrated use of technology or project management tools to manage multiple tasks and deadlines is a primary requirement.
- High attention to detail, and the ability to keep updated records of project progress.
- Experience working with trades/contractors briefing and negotiating quotes, managing delivery and quality.
- Experience with QLD building code and practices is an advantage.
- Experience providing service in a luxury property environment an advantage.
- Knowledge of Surf Life Saving programs and activities.
