Job Title: Human Resource Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Officer to join our team in delivering exceptional operational HR support and advice across the North Coast Region.

  • This role is responsible for managing recruitment activities, including participating as a panel member to recruit and select for significant infrastructure projects.
  • You will work closely with two AO4 HR Officers to ensure the region's vacancies are filled efficiently and in alignment with departmental policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of relevant legislation, enterprise agreements, and HR policies within the Queensland Public Sector. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Recruitment and Selection: Proven experience in managing recruitment processes, including developing job descriptions, shortlisting candidates, and conducting interviews.
  • Workforce Management: Excellent knowledge of workforce management principles, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management.
  • HR Systems and Documentation: Strong technical skills in using HR systems, such as SAP HR, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
