The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled HR professional to join our Construction and Engineering team.

This role is ideal for someone seeking to grow within their HR profession and gain valuable experience in handling initial HR enquiries, processing employment changes, and liaising with key stakeholders on people-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the onboarding process for new employees and ensure a seamless transition into the company.
  • Maintain up-to-date personnel information and files to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.
  • Process payroll accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Create and update policies and procedures to align with company objectives and industry best practices.
  • Track employee performance and provide constructive feedback to support growth and development.
  • Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to build strong relationships and resolve issues effectively.
  • Address personnel-related issues promptly and professionally to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Participate in disciplinary and termination meetings to ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience with a focus on operations and administration.
  • HR qualification - Cert IV minimum or equivalent.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
  • Professional approach and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
