Sunshine, Australia Brimbank City Council Full time

We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Advisor who is motivated and willing to use initiative to deliver high quality HR advice, address business needs as they occur, implement new systems and improve on current processes.
Part of a dynamic HR team, you will be responsible for the delivery of HR support across the full range of Local Government Services at one of Victoria’s largest Councils.
The role will provide specialist advice and support on a broad range of employee matters in the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and on-boarding, workplace relations matters, award interpretation, remuneration and generalist HR advice.
For this role you will need:

- A degree qualification in Human Resources, Employee Relations or related with relevant experience or equivalent substantial specialist experience.
- Sound knowledge and proven ability to work within the parameters of contemporary human resources practices.
- Sound knowledge of and the ability to interpret local government terms and conditions of employment, including best practice recruitment and selection practices.
- Excellent communication style with high level interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Strong desire to learn and broaden your experience.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
