Job Description:

This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Residential Care homes. It involves managing a team and working directly with clients to create a safe environment, build rapport, and promote independence.

The House Supervisor will work closely with the support team to develop and implement strategies that enhance the quality of client services and improve outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High level of interpersonal skills including the ability to consult and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Skill in supporting people with disabilities within a positive and therapeutic framework.
  • Understanding of Residential Youth Work and NDIS principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective staff-management skills, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
