Team Leader
About the RoleThe Team Leader is responsible for providing high-quality care to residents at all times, ensuring that their individual needs, wishes and goals are met. This involves supporting the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse in supervising and coordinating care across the home.
This role is ideal for Endorsed Enrolled Nurses seeking a challenging yet rewarding position where they can make a real difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic social and emotional support to residents, ensuring that care provision is person-centered.
- Support the coordination of care needs across the home, including medication management, nutrition and hydration, pressure care management.
- Lead/supervise care on the shift, within designated wings or areas.
- Perform medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, regulation and policies.
- Relevant qualifications:
- Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with AHPRA Registration to administer medication).
- High level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness.
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and use information technology and programs, as well as learn new skills as required.
- Current National police check.
- Working knowledge of WHS and Infection Control.
- Desire to join a team committed to resident care in a mission-based organisation.
