Job Title: Home Care Manager

This role involves overseeing the daily operations of Residential Care facilities.

The successful candidate will be required to work directly with clients and collaborate with support teams to create a safe environment, build rapport, and help develop independence.

The ideal candidate is passionate about leading a team to make a real difference in a young person's life.

A leader who strives to help others and has experience working with complex and challenging behaviours, including clients with disabilities.

Committed to delivering quality client services and continuous improvement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of Residential Care facilities.
  • Collaborating with support teams to create a safe environment for clients.
  • Developing independence in clients through coaching and guidance.
  • Maintaining high standards of client care and service delivery.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to support teams.

Requirements:

  • High level of interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to support people with disabilities within a positive and therapeutic framework.
  • Understanding of Residential Youth Work and NDIS principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong staff-management skills, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal and written.

Qualifications:

  • Completed a Cert IV in Disability or similar qualification.
  • Current Working With Children Check.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening check (or willing to obtain).
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain).
  • Administration of Medication (or willing to obtain).
