Position

Personal Care Workers - Calvary Goonawarra, Sunbury VIC

Responsibilities
  • Progress with purpose at one of Australia's largest health care providers
  • Create the perfect work-life balance where you can choose your hours
  • Progress with purpose at Calvary Aged Care and provide exceptional resident care
  • Support residents to live the life they choose, allowing them to exercise choice and independence
  • Assist residents in one-on-one activities that support well-being, including hobbies and interests aligned to the care plan
  • Contribute to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs of residents through assessment and observation
  • Deliver a range of personal care tasks within an established framework, including daily hygiene (e.g., showering, shaving, dressing, mouth and eye care) and continence management
  • Assist residents who require mobility support as per care plan
About You
  • Certificate Level III (Individual Support)
  • Effective interpersonal communication (written and verbal)
  • Ability to prioritise workloads
  • Working knowledge of WHS and Infection Control
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care, health care or hospitality
