Site Logistics Coordinator Job Opportunity

The Voith Group is seeking an experienced Site Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and smooth material handling of electrical and mechanical scope (Turbines, Generators, Hydraulic Steel Structures, BoPe and BoPm) of the Snowy project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement storage layout for inside and outside storage areas.
  • Manage all activities related to material handling and storage process at site, including incoming and outgoing goods, inspections, and administration of materials and parts in site warehousing software.
  • Identify bottlenecks and develop mitigation measures by involving necessary parties, such as site quality and site production, to ensure internal and external milestones are met.
  • Maintain close communication and coordination with off-site shipment department and external parties, such as local transportation companies, for all shipments and related matters.
  • Evaluate site planning meetings and provide input on logistics strategies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Senior/Management level position in site logistics and warehousing or site management roles in large Hydro Power projects or similar industries.
  • Strong technical knowledge of hydro-power equipment installation and commissioning.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with ability to manage workforce and subcontractors.
  • Fully fluent in English, with additional languages beneficial.
