Rural Emergency Nursing Professional

Key Responsibilities


The successful candidate will provide expert clinical input into the development, delivery and management of rural emergency nursing programs.


Main Tasks:


  • Contribute to the creation of project plans that meet organizational goals and objectives;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement program strategies;
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement;

Requirements


To be considered for this role, you must have:


  • A current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with at least 5 years full-time equivalent postgraduate experience;
  • Tertiary nursing qualifications in Emergency Nursing and at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in the specialty field;
  • Demonstrated expertise in rural and emergency nursing and clinical leadership;
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, including stakeholder engagement and evaluation;
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams;

Working Conditions


This is a Category A position. All new employees must comply with NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015. OASV requirements include proof of vaccination against influenza for NSW staff who enter Residential Aged Care Facilities or work in NSW Health owned and operated RACFs.
