Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Consultant to provide expert clinical input into the development, delivery, management and evaluation of the Southern Rural Emergency Nursing Exchange Program (RENEX).

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work in close collaboration with management and key stakeholders to develop, implement and evaluate the project plan.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • At least 5 years full-time equivalent postgraduate experience with tertiary nursing qualifications in Emergency Nursing and at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in rural and emergency nursing and clinical leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of clinical education programs.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, including stakeholder engagement and evaluation.
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • A current unrestricted drivers' license and the ability to travel as required.
