Overview
This is a clinical leadership position that will provide expert input into the development, delivery, management and evaluation of a rural emergency nursing program. The role involves working closely with management and key stakeholders to develop, implement and evaluate project plans.
The successful candidate will be experienced in emergency nursing and have demonstrated expertise in clinical leadership. They will also have experience in developing and delivering clinical education programs and managing complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing expert clinical input into the development and implementation of a rural emergency nursing program
- Working closely with management and key stakeholders to develop, implement and evaluate project plans
- Developing and delivering clinical education programs for emergency nurses
- Managing complex projects and ensuring timely completion
Requirements
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with at least 5 years full-time equivalent postgraduate experience with tertiary nursing qualifications in Emergency Nursing
- Demonstrated expertise in rural and emergency nursing and clinical leadership
- Experience in the development and delivery of clinical education programs
- Proven ability to manage complex projects
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills

What You'll Be Doing
The Clinical Nurse Consultant provides expert clinical input into the development, delivery, management and evaluation of the Southern Rural Emergency Nursing Exchange Program (RENIX).
Selection Criteria
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with at least 5 years full-time equivalent postgraduate experience with tertiary nursing qualifications in Emergency Nursing and at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in the specialty field
- Demonstrated expertise in rural and emergency nursing and clinical leadership
- Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of clinical education programs
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, including stakeholder engagement and evaluation
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
