Role Description


The Clinical Nurse Consultant will provide expert clinical input into the development, delivery, management and evaluation of a rural emergency nursing exchange program. The position will work closely with stakeholders to develop, implement and evaluate a project plan.


Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Consultant will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical expertise in rural and emergency nursing;
  • Developing and delivering clinical education programs;
  • Managing complex projects and engaging with stakeholders;
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and communicating effectively.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a registered nurse with at least 5 years full-time equivalent postgraduate experience;
  • Demonstrated expertise in rural and emergency nursing and clinical leadership;
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
