Order to Cash Collection Specialist

About the Role

This position is responsible for providing professional and timely collections on high volume accounts for ABB Australia. As a highly motivated individual, you will enjoy working within a team and have the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. The work model for this role is hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

  • High Volume Collections and Account Follow-up: Ensure timely collections and follow-up on high volume accounts to maintain cash flow.
  • Negotiating Payments for Outstanding Accounts: Negotiate payments for outstanding accounts to minimize delinquencies.
  • Dispute Resolution with Internal and External Customers: Coordinate dispute resolution with internal and external customers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Daily Queries and Account Reconciliation: Handle daily queries with both internal and external customers, and perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Building Effective Relationships: Build effective relationships with both internal and external customers to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.

Requirements for the Role

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in collections within high volume accounts environment.
  • Proactive and self-starting individual who can operate both individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to listen, understand, and deliver on business requirements.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple demands.
  • Excellent numerical skills.
  • Driven, energetic, and collaborative team player.
  • Computer skills: MS Office package, SAP would be favourably regarded.
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
